Features
The SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) system offers control from low to high end engine speeds. With 4 valves per cylinder, air transfers quickly and facilitates excellent engine response.
The 60mm size single bore throttle minimizes intake resistance and provides first-rate response for acceleration and high speed operation. The skilfully designed durable plastic intake manifold provides noise reduction as well as low speed stability.
While adopting the style of the F200 F and F115 B, downsizing the power unit has made these outboards even smaller than the F115B
With the press of a button on the tachometer or the multifunction tiller handle, the trolling engine speed adjusts in steps of 50 r/ min between 550 and 1000 r/ min. Resetting to Regular cruising is automatic.
Yamaha’s proven labyrinth system which gradually expands exhaust gases through a labyrinth greatly suppresses engine noise at low to medium speeds.
Structural additions and revisions have greatly reduced noise at higher than mid-range speeds.
