The new YXZ1000R SS XT-R features a new clutch setup with an all-new hub with radiating fins, added oil-lubrication ports for maximized heat dissipation, and new YCC-S programming to provide increased clutch durability.

The industry’s only six-speed manual transmission, optimized for performance in both high- and low-speed situations with updated gear ratios, including a 40% lower first gear. Increased clutch durability delivers greater confidence during operation, while simultaneously improving driver comfort at slower speeds.

The YXZ1000R SS XT-R features FOX® 2.5 Podium® RC2 shocks with dual-spring-rate adjustable crossovers. All four corners are fully adjustable—spring preload, crossover adjustment, rebound and both high- and low-speed compression damping—with a huge 16.2 inches of front travel and 17.0 inches at the rear, along with exceptional ride quality, tuneability, and handling.

Any engine needs to inhale clean air and exhale as efficiently as possible. The YXZ’s high capacity intake system features dual air filters—one oiled foam, one viscous paper—for maximum airflow to the engine as well as durable filtration for the dirtiest riding environments. The three-into-one high-volume exhaust system centralizes weight distribution and is tuned to provide maximum power across the rev range.

Drive hard and keep your cool. To ensure peak performance every ride, the YXZ1000R SS XT-R features a rear-mounted radiator. This system not only reduces heat in the cabin, but it remains clear of mud or debris build-up and is designed to funnel cool air through the radiator at low or high speeds equally well. Even with windshields equipped and a full cargo bed, the YXZ's intuitive design still allows for optimum airflow through strategically placed inlets and massive cooling fans.
