A vacancy has arisen for a Golf Car Sales Executive reporting to the General Manager Aftersales at Tuning Fork Pty Ltd. The vacancy is open to candidates with immediate effect.

Position Overview: The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales, growth across the Yamaha and LeRoad

Golf cart brands in South Africa.

 

Job Description:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within:
  1. Golf courses and country clubs
  2. Residential estates and lifestyle estates
  3. Hospitality, tourism, and corporate sectors
  • Promote and sell Yamaha and LeRoad golf carts and related solutions.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with:
  1. Gold course managers, club professionals, and owners
  2. Fleet managers and procurement organisations
  • Engage clients confidently using knowledge of the game and course operations.

Pipeline Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and sales pipeline reports.
  • Track leads from prospecting through to deal closure.

Brand Representation & Industry Engagement

  • Represent Yamaha and LeRoad brands with professionalism and credibility.
  • Actively participate in:
  1. Gold days; Demo events; Industry expos and activations.

Administrative & Operational Duties

  • Prepare accurate quotations and ensure timely follow-ups
  • Coordinate with operations for product delivery and deployment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12

Preferred Qualification:

  • PGA of South Africa – belonging to the Professional Golf World in South Africa

Minimum Experience:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in Sales role, preferably in B2B, automotive, equipment, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Preferred Experiential:

  • Experience within the golf industry, golf estates, or related lifestyles sectors
  • Experience using CRM systems and data reporting tools
