A vacancy has arisen for a Junior Dealership Accountant reporting to the Dealership Accountant at Tuning Fork Pty Ltd t/a Yamaha Distributors South Africa. The vacancy is open to candidates with immediate effect.

Position Overview: To support the Dealership Accountant in providing a comprehensive Financial and Administration support service.

Job Description:
• Preparation and compilation of the daily cash up packs.
• Ensure that all documents, bank statements and proof of payments are included in the packs before submitting them to the Dealership Accountant for review.
• All invoices are receipted (FNB and Bidvest) and batches are allocated daily
• Assisting with Monthly Creditors Recons for both branches
• Ensuring that the once off account has a zero balance.
• Distribute GRN suspense accounts listings to the business.
• Enquire and clear long outstanding items
• Clearing the Unpaid cash report.
• Daily review of parts deposits and follow up on delivery and invoicing.
• Ensure payments are allocated to correct debtor accounts and general ledger accounts daily (expenses) e.g.: clearing of cents, write-offs, unallocated account etc. for the Lynnwood branch.
• Compile the B-BBEE monthly spend report.
• Performing month end closing and ensuring all necessary accounting entries are raised at month-end.
• Prepare journal entries for month-end.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations of accounts with appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:
• BCom Accounting Degree or similar
• Computer literate

Minimum Experience:
• Minimum / No Experience.
